ALICIP® is a pharmaceutical product containing Ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic renowned for its efficacy against a wide range of bacterial infections. Ciprofloxacin operates by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination, thereby halting bacterial proliferation.
Indications:
ALICIP® is indicated for the treatment of various infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:
- Respiratory Tract Infections: Such as acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and pneumonia.
- Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Including cystitis and pyelonephritis.
- Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Like cellulitis and wound infections.
- Bone and Joint Infections: Such as osteomyelitis.
- Gastrointestinal Infections: Including infectious diarrhea.
- Typhoid Fever: Caused by Salmonella typhi.

Precautions and Advisory:
